Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what happens when you use Batch Background Remover (this site). The core free tool removes image backgrounds in your browser. We designed it so cutouts do not need an account and do not upload your photos to our servers for processing.

Background removal (the free tool)

1. Local processing — When you upload images on the homepage tool, background removal runs with an ONNX/WASM model in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to our servers for cutout processing.
2. Model / library assets — On first use, the background-removal library may download model and WASM assets (tens of MB) from its CDN into your browser cache. Later runs on the same device are typically faster.
3. No account required for the tool — You can use the free remover without signing in. Sign-in, settings, or billing pages may exist as part of the site template for optional future features; they are not required to remove backgrounds or download results.
4. Exports — Transparent PNG or optional white-background PNG/ZIP downloads are generated locally in your browser. We do not add watermarks on this free path.

What we may collect (site shell)

If you only use the homepage remover, we do not need account or payment data for that path. Depending on how the site is configured, the broader site shell may still involve:

• Basic technical logs — Standard web server or edge logs (e.g. IP, user agent, request path) used for reliability and abuse prevention.
• Optional analytics / cookies — Only if enabled in deployment. You can manage cookie preferences when a cookie banner is shown.
• Account email / profile — Only if you create an account or sign in. Not required for the free remover.
• Payment details — Only if you start a paid flow through a third-party processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. The free local remover does not require payment.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data sharing

We may share limited data only when needed to:

• Operate hosting, CDN, or email providers under their terms;
• Comply with law or respond to lawful requests;
• Protect the service or users against abuse.

Background-removal photo pixels from the free tool stay in your browser for processing; they are not sent to us for cutouts.

Your choices

• Use the tool without an account.
• Clear browser cache to remove cached model assets and local downloads you saved.
• If you created an account, contact us to request access, update, or deletion of account data we hold.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will refresh the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
